Neale Whitaker’s RSL Art Union Renovation with Kinsman
We recently worked with style guru and TV host, Neale Whitaker, on a property renovation in Freshwater! For Neale, the task in hand was to style a waterfront beach house, transforming it into a family home oozing with luxury. After adding substantial value to the home, The RSL Art Union are giving this stunning home away in a prize draw, raising money for Australian Veterans. This was a very special project that we were thrilled to be involved in.
Enhancing the Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry, Laundry and Wardrobe spaces, Neale was inspired by sand, sky and ocean, ensuring that the style of this home reflects its charming coastal surroundings. The neutral colour combo of Oyster Grey Matt and Classic White cabinetry was chosen to for the kitchen and butler’s pantry space. The grey doors showcase contrasting Black Anodised Bar handles, bringing the kitchen back to life with a contemporary modern look. The island benchtop, which presents ample space for prepping meals and entertaining, features Caesarstone in Noble Grey; a luxurious addition to the neutral colour palette.
The warm coastal colour scheme flows seamlessly into the laundry space with use of Oyster Grey Matt doors and Caesarstone benchtops in Noble Grey to complement the kitchen perfectly. Contrasting with the kitchen, a Brushed SS Look Rectangle Bar handle has been used achieving a subtle and soft look. This room boasts decorative open shelving units for easy access items and styling opportunity, bringing depth and personality to the space. The sleek and sophisticated style of the laundry is mirrored in the upstairs kitchenette within the Parents Retreat. Everything ties in, from the striking black accents through to the same neutral cabinetry, benchtop and handles.
Last but not least, the opulent Walk-in wardrobe is the cherry on the cake. White Satin doors are decorated with Black integrated Marq handles, effortlessly embracing the neutral colour palette throughout the home. The Grey Textile interior finish is a soft tone and luxe texture, a lavish neutral backdrop for Neale’s styling accents. LED Light Bars in black puts the spotlight on clothing as the continuous beam of light shines back towards the hanging space. A mixture of hanging space and deep draws provide ample space to store clothes in style and elegance.
Take a look below and watch Neale reveal what inspired the styling of this stunning property.
