Serene and elegant, Steph and Gian focused on blending neutral tones with texture to produce a modern kitchen that is the heart of their home. The pair opted for a bright and organic colour palette, produced by combining Kinsman’s new Porto Maple Woodmatt and Platinum Metallic cabinets with statement Ebony Stained American Oak handles. Soft creamy countertops have been extended onto the splashbacks creating a seamless look throughout.
“We knew we wanted to continue the Japandi aesthetic into our kitchen design and this is reflected in the colours and finishes we selected, explains Steph. Our design appeals to those who love to cook and entertain, and I’m obsessed with the Fisher & Paykel appliances!”
A true entertainer’s kitchen, key cooking appliances including a Fisher & Paykel Induction Cooktop with integrated ventilation, have been placed on the island bench- giving family and guests a front row seat to the drama of creating meals. Spanning a generous 3 metres, the island also provides a seating nook and a wealth of additional storage.
Keeping the kitchen tidy is a breeze thanks to the cleaning zone that sits within the back wall of joinery, consisting of an integrated dishwasher, hidden Ninka Bin, Gunmetal undermount sink and Gooseneck mixer with vegie spray. To the left of this zone, the fridge is integrated behind cabinetry, while on the right, a pull-out Dispensa Pantry keeps kitchen essentials organised and within easy reach.
