Their contemporary, classic and compact kitchenette ticked all the judges boxes. The couple chose a combination of Bottega Oak Woodmatt doors and classic Shaker-style Somersby Classic White Matt cabinetry which contrasts in colour, texture and profile. Timber-look base cabinet doors have been paired with a Caesarstone® Turbine Grey™ benchtop, continuing to embrace the monochromatic theme. Under the angled ceiling, decorative shelving provides styling opportunity and practical storage space for items such as cook books. “I see a lot of flexibility here and it ticks so many boxes for me” Shaynna said. A lavish Laminate Alpine White Quadra benchtop wraps around the edge of the room, contrasting with the dark joinery, creating a study/desk area for the studio space. Drawer and cupboard storage beneath the bench top provide opportunities for storing files, stationary and other home office items. Adjoined to the desk area is a bay seat, creating a nook to relax in; providing even more storage opportunities and ensuring that the space is maximised fully.
