Meet the New Caesarstone® Colours

One of the most exciting aspects of working on The Block each season is the opportunity to showcase new products entering the Kinsman range and our partners. Caesarstone® has introduced several new stunning colours recently including Calacatta Maximus™ and Aterra Blanca™ which featured within House 2 and 5 on The Block Fans v Faves. Created to complement a variety of kitchen styles and colour palettes, below we take a closeup look at each colour way and explore the perfect pairings in cabinetry, handles and accessories from the Kinsman range.

Calacatta Maximus™

Known for its thick, bold viewing Calacatta marble has a very distinctive look which has been perfectly captured by Calacatta Maximus™. Evoking the unique beauty of the mineral layers found in nature, this new colour way is sure to be a show-stopping feature in any kitchen. Featuring oversized soft grey and delicate copper veining atop a pure white base, Calacatta Maximus™ works perfectly in both ultra-modern and minimal kitchens as well as more traditional-styles.

Taste-makers Mitch and Mark used Calacatta Maximus™ for both their benchtops and splashback in their ultra-glam, family-focused kitchen. The marble-look complements the natural colour palette achieved in the space, with Kinsman’s NEW Shaker-style profile Montauk doors in Classic White Matt paired with deeply fluted Sorrento cabinetry in Stone Grey Matt and Classic White Matt to created a textured look. The pop of brass ties in beautifully with Barrington Eclipse Plain Brass Matt handles and brings in the touch of luxe that can be found throughout their entire home

Aterra Blanca™

Inspired by natural marble, Aterra Blanca™ is an elegant misty white quartz surface with delicate earthy veins that achieve a subtle yet evocative and textured look. Aterra Blanca™ is a versatile design, suited to a broad range of styles, from classic or country, to minimal and sleek. Its luxurious feel is timeless in any room in your home, including a kitchen and laundry.

Kirsty and Jesse’s winning kitchen featured Aterra Blanca™ benchtops throughout. The marble-look quartz pairs perfectly with the Ink Blue and Brass colour scheme the couple used to evoke a Hamptons meets the Country look. Kinsman’s new Montauk Ink cabinetry showcases a 40mm shaker-profile, allowing the Brass Patina Mesh door panels to stand out with their raw beauty. Intricate detailing is found throughout the kitchen, including the bespoke brass inlay placed within the island bench which matches our new matte brass Barrington Knobs with Backing Plate, and Cup Pull handles.

Black Tempal™

Showcasing a complex industrial composition reflecting a captivating interpretation of industrial travertine, Black Tempal™ features a black charcoal base with delicate, warm whites across the slab.

One of the most exciting trends we are seeing this year is a rise in black and dark materials that evoke a natural and raw finish, and Black Tempal™ encapsulates this in spades. Winners of The Block 2020, Jimmy and Tam, selected this stunning top for their amazing kitchen – pairing it with light grey and green-toned cabinetry for a contemporary and fresh look. It also works beautifully when paired with a monochromatic cabinetry colour palette and black or silver-look handles and accessories.

Empira Black™

Bold and timeless, Empira Black™ has a dark base composed of a rich, deep black beautified by fine white natural veins. Transforming any kitchen into an opulent and luxury experience, use this countertop as a contrasting island silhouette or use all-over for a truly head-turning look. Enhance its beauty with classic hardware and sophisticated accessories such as Kinsman’s 2020 Alumin Black Framing with Broadline Glass.

Vivid White™

Vivid White™ captures the perfection of the whitest natural marble on Earth, quarried over the centuries on the Greek Island of Thassos in the Aegean Sea. Smooth to the touch with a durable, long-lasting polish, Vivid White™ is the perfect choice for creating the ultra-white look that is right on trend in 2021.

We suggest pairing with Oxley Supa White cabinetry to enhance the look, while adding warmth with a pop of timber such as Kinsman Chadstone Prime Oak doors, and our integrated Marq handles in UltraGold to keep the look sleek and chic. For a more classic meets coastal look Kinsman’s new Archie doors are a wonderful option, their curved features add the perfect amount of detail and interest to any space.
