The Master Bedroom and Kinsman Walk-in robe reveal saw high expectations from The Block judges Darren Palmer, Shaynna Blaze and Neale Whitaker.

Harry and Tash were crowned winners of the Week after a relentless ride; one highpages lever pulled, one extra hour in the contestants back pocket and one injured ankle later, the father-daughter duo delivered the biggest Master Bedroom and Walk-in robe on The Block to its fullest potential.

From glitz and glam to smart storage solutions serving functionality, these wonderful Walk-in robes were all worthy of winning in our eyes, explore them below!

House 1 – WINNERS Harry & Tash

The Block judges were wowed by the glitz and glam that Harry and Tash’s robe had to offer, Darren described it as “grand and stately”. A spacious walk-in wardrobe that is a joy to be in. The robe sits within the entry to the master bedroom. Decorative glass shelves have been positioned upon entry, evenly lit with Premium Verti-Strip Lighting, to allow the homeowners to place a mixture of accessories and decor items center stage.

Neale was attracted to one particular feature of the robe in particular; “Call me old-fashioned but I love a wardrobe with a door,” he revealed. “I’m so glad they’ve gone with this beautiful profile.” The Shaker-style doors in Somersby White Matt have been paired with Dark Oak Natural interiors for a modern yet classic look. A makeup station at the heart of the robe features a Caesarstone Statuario Maximus benchtop and our new Smart Mirror (with an in-built Bluetooth speaker no less!) completes the glamorous look.

House 2 – Sarah & George

Warm and opulent, Sarah & George’s master walk-in robe makes an immediate impact. Offering open units in our Dark Oak Natural interior finish for easy viewing and access, as well as a makeup station with an FX Series desk, this is a robe that turns heads.

The judges were impressed with the functionality of this robe, open cabinetry and smart accessories have been used to ensure that there is a space for everything in this closet. The other features display cabinets fitted with glass shelves, a compartment tray for displaying jewellery & watches, as well as a home safe to lock away precious items. With the new Smart Mirror bringing further functionality and practicality as well as a spark of glamour amongst the rich and elegant cabinetry

House 3 – Daniel & Jade

Daniel and Jade’s walk-in wardrobe features a successful balance of glamour and functionality featuring a mixture of open shelving and drawers as well as exposed half and full length hanging space. A sleek, industrial colour palette has been created with the use of our Grey Textile interior finish paired with the exterior door finish and Brave Bow Matt Black handles, a thoughtful nod to the period style of the home and tie in with their guest bedroom. “That is hot.” Darren remarked, “This black detailing, that lovely black handle that I loved so much last time, and that finish on the doors”.

The cabinetry doors open up to a secret passage leading into the couple’s ensuite, allowing a seamless flow of cabinetry eliminating the need of a separate door or opening.

Storage solutions abound with the inclusion of a Home Safe, Folding Mirror, Wardrobe Lifts, as well as Multifunction Inserts and Boxes in black. Our new Rotating Shoe Rack was described by Shaynna as “really fun”, it’s not only impressive but extremely functional too! The luxe look is completed with Glass Shelves which are showpiece accessories to ensure this is a robe that stands out from the crowd.

House 4 – Luke & Jasmin

Luke and Jasmin offered a seamless transition from the bedroom to the Walk-In robe. A light, neutral and timeless colour palette of white and timber is celebrated with a simple and fashionable design in White Satin and feature Modern Oak Natural internal finishes. The judges noted that this colour palette was perfectly aligned with the bedroom and felt classy and classic

Open shelving and generous drawers allows for easy organisation of clothing, shoes and accessories. Hanging space is also a must-have and is complemented with a Trouser Rack. Our Premium Vertical Strip Lighting has been used within each cabinet, illuminating the contents perfectly.

The make-up station/desk located on the other side of their hallway showcases 2020 Alumin Black Frame Shelving with Broadline Glass, FX Series top and Warm LED downlights.

House 5 – Jimmy & Tam

Boasting a fresh palette of white and timber created from White Satin exterior doors, Modern Oak Natural interior finishes and our new Natural Ash Bar handles, Jimmy and Tam’s ‘His & Hers’ Master walk-in robe offers storage solutions on another level.

The U-shaped design features open shelving, drawers and boxes on either side, with Touch Catch White Satin doors at the centre, concealing the hanging section of the robe. A careful selection of accessories maximises storage within the space and includes a Scarf Rack, Tie and Belt Rack, Multifunction Inserts, Home Safe and Glass Shelves. Black hardware and angled lighting contrasts well with the oak and white tones, giving a striking touch to the interior of each cabinet. The corner storage maximizing room for hanging space.
