It’s an exciting day when the amazing Shelley Craft – interior design extraordinaire and The Block co-host- comes to visit the Kinsman kitchens! Five incredible kitchens were created with the talented contestants – all brimming with style, storage, functionality and the very best in appliances and accessories!

Step inside each kitchen to explore them with Shelley in more detail. 

House 1. Kyle & Leslie

The Natural Beauty.

With its organic colour palette and soft curves, did Shelley just admit that Kyle & Leslie created her favourite kitchen on the show this year? Watch to hear about their kitchen design choices around the statement kitchen island and the impressive Electrolux appliances from The Good Guys that ensure that this is a chef’s kitchen!

“Our Kinsman consult was great”, says Leslie. They were so helpful and had lots of ideas with lots of options which was great”.

House 2. Leah & Ash

Understated Luxury.

Not ones to shy away from making a style statement, Leah and Ash have selected opulent Kinsman Bottega Oak kitchen cabinets, paired with our new Champagne-look Soft Ziato Metallic doors, new Matt Black Ova Pull kitchen handles and quartzite-inspired kitchen benchtops and kitchen splashbacks to create a bold look.

“It’s definitely got a lot of functionality,” explains Leah. “It’s compact, but we wanted to make it functional and beautiful!”

House 3. Kristy & Brett

Light & Bright.

Kristy and Brett’s kitchen is a masterclass in Classic Luxury. The light and bright look is achieved with Kinsman’s Fresh White Satin cabinetry paired with new Matt White Knurled bar kitchen handles. The dramatic stone-look benchtop on the island bench ensures that their kitchen is the heart of their home.

“You’ve got this beautiful crisp clean white, and then bam, this amazing Cosentino stone,” exclaims Shelley!

House 4. Steph & Gian

Japandi Minimalism

Serene and elegant, Steph and Gian focused on blending neutral tones with texture to produce a modern kitchen that is the heart of their home. The couple opted for a bright and organic colour palette, produced by combining our new Porto Maple Woodmatt and Platinum Metallic kitchen cabinets with Ebony Stained American Oak handles.

“We love it,” smiles Steph. “I think it’s the perfect entertainer’s kitchen!”

House 5. Eliza & Liberty

Bright & Bold.

Bold and exciting, Eliza and Liberty’s winning kitchen design demands attention and is full of great kitchen ideas! The orange Smeg Portofino Freestanding Cooker with matching Canopy Rangehood is the central focal point within the layout, complemented by our Oyster Grey Matt joinery, Brushed Brass handles, and dark moody benchtops.

“For us it was really fun,” explains Liberty when Shelley asks the sisters about their experience with Kinsman. “The guidance and support they (Kinsman) gave us was amazing, because we need that.”
