Top 5 wardrobe designs from The Block 2021
Great wardrobe design is one balances stylish with storage. With the latest season of The Block gracing our screens from Sunday 7 August on Nine and 9Now, viewers will be treated with the hottest robe trends. As the official supplier of the wardrobes of wardrobes and home offices, we couldn’t help but take a look back at the amazing designs we created with the Blockheads last year.
While we would never pick favourites, the five designs below showcase the very best in the Kinsman Wardrobes range. From beautiful colours, doors, handles, and luxury extras we love to create stylish storage that is beautifully organised.
1. Luke & Josh Master Bedroom
Luke and Josh created a statement Walk-in Wardrobe that wowed the judges and viewers. A warm, natural colour scheme has been achieved by combining Natural Oak Ravine exterior doors with matching Natural Oak Matt interior finishes. Bold Square Hook Matt Black handles complement the Black Framed Glass Shelves, which feature alongside a combination of hanging space, soft-close drawers, and open shelves.
At the centre of the design is a makeup station topped in Caesarstone® Frosty Carrina and includes the Loox Multidimensional Mirror. This smart mirror combines makeup and mood lighting, a demister, and a Bluetooth-powered sound system!

2. Ronnie & Georgia Guest Bedroom 1
Making a statement in Week 1, Ronnie and Georgia took out the win for their First Guest Bedroom. Central to the design is the statement wardrobe which is a focal point of the room. The pair selected White Matt Montauk profile doors teamed with Natural Oak Matt used for both the interiors and a feature dresser storage area which provides the perfect place for styling. The warm grey hue of Caesarstone’s® Noble Grey, which was used as a benchtop within the dresser, complements the timber and white colour palette and adds instant glamour as do Satin Brass Rounded Bar handles.

3. Mitch & Mark Guest Bedroom 2
Mitch and Mark produced a fresh and natural colour palette for their wardrobe in their Second Guest Bedroom which they designed as a fun children’s room. Fresh green Enamel Natural exterior doors provide a welcome pop of colour within the room, with Oak Timber Rounded Bar handles opening the Hinged robe, exposing Greige Textile Natural interiors. LED door sensors activate Premium LED Verti-Strip lighting when the doors are opened, illuminating the contents within. Storage is maximised through a combination of hanging space, soft-close drawers, shelving and storage accessories, including a Folding Mirror and pull-out Trouser Rack.

4. Kirsty & Jesse Guest Bedroom 1
Light and bright, Kirsty and Jesse designed a classic and elegant Walk-In Robe that delivers storage in spades featuring Hanging Rails, Shoe Drawers, open shelving, soft-close drawers, and a Jewellery Compartment Tray. Black Framed Glass Shelving allows jewellery to be displayed, creating a glamorous robe that any guest would love.

5. Ronnie & Georgia Guest Bedroom 3
We loved the twist that Ronnie & Georgia took for their wardrobe in their Third Guest Bedroom which features a day bed. A blend Somersby Classic White Matt exterior doors and Natural Oak Matt interior finishes create a neutral Coastal palette. Matt Brass Bar handles add a touch of glamour, while the Natural Oak Matt frame adds texture and warmth. Interior storage has also been considered, with plenty of hanging space created thanks to Black Hanging Rails as well as small drawers.
